Ringotel integration for QuickBooks offers the following features:
Provides links to Customer entities from the Ringotel app.
Allows you to create contacts in QuickBooks using the Ringotel mobile or desktop app.
Imports Customers from QuickBooks into the Contact lists of Ringotel users.
Create an App and get the Client ID, Client Secret
Navigate to the Intuit developer porta(Intuit Developer ) and log in. Select the workspace your environment is in and navigate to the Apps tab. Then, click on the plus sign top start creating a new app.
Give the app a name and click Next.
Then give the app com.intuit.quickbooks.accounting permissions and click Done.
After that you should be give the Client ID and Client Secret for you app.
Please click Show Credentials and save the Client Id and Secret and click Open app.
In the app please navigate to the Settings tab and open the Redirect URIs tab and add the redirect URL. By default, the URL is https://shell.ringotel.co/services/Quickbooks.
After the URL has been added please click Save.
Get the Company ID
To get the Company ID please log in to your Quickbooks CRM.
While the application is open, press the following keyboard combination:
Windows: Ctrl + Alt + ?
Mac: Control + Option + ?
This should get the popup window with your Company ID to appear.
Please save the Company id you see there without spaces.
This should take care of the integration setup on the QuickBooks side.
Setting up the integration in Ringotel Shell Portal
Sign into your Ringotel admin portal at https://shell.ringotel.co and navigate to an organization → Integrations tab → click Enable Integration on the QuickBooks card.
Specify the Client ID, Client Secret and the Company ID you got from the previous steps and click Save & Continue.
Please make sure the Company ID you provide does NOT have spaces in it
If the integration settings were specified correctly, you should now be redirected to the next step where you need to link your Ringotel users with QuickBooks Employees.
Click Save changes. Now the integration should be configured for the linked users.
