When your customers integrate their Pipedrive account via the Ringotel admin portal, they will need to confirm Ringotel app access to their Pipedrive account. White-label customers may prefer not to display the Ringotel brand to their clients. Also, if you are using custom domain to access your Ringotel admin portal, enabling integration will result in error due to the incorrectly configured redirect URL. For these reasons creating a custom Pipedrive app is a required step.
Create a new Pipedrive app
To create a new Pipedrive app first you need to sign app for a developer sandbox account Pipedrive has an article on how to do it here: Pipedrive Developer Sandbox account
After the account has been granted log in to it and navigate to the Developer Hub in Account settings tab.
Then, choose to create a Private App
Give your app a name and a Callback URL. In the Callback URL field, specify the following:
You need to substitute <YourRingotelAdminPortalDomain> with your custom Ringotel portal URL, and <YourRingotelAccountID> with your Ringotel account ID copied from your Ringotel admin portal β Menu β Account.
Then, click Save and should be taken to the OAuth and Access scopes tab.
Set it up to look as follows and click Save
At the bottom of this window you will see the client ID and Client secret of the app you created, please save them.
After that please provide the Ringotel Support with the Client ID and Client Secret of the app you created so we can set a custom integration using this app for your account.
