Ringotel integration for SquareUp CRM offers the following features:
Allows you to create and edit Customer entities in the CRM via the Ringotel app.
Identifies contacts on incoming and outgoing calls.
Provides links to open Contact entities from the Ringotel app.
Imports contacts from CRM into the Contact lists of
Ringotel users.
Creating an App and getting Application ID and Application Secret
To create an integration first you will need to create an App in Square Dev space.
Please create an account following the instruction here Create an Account and Application and the create an application.
After the App has been created please open the app settings and navigate to the OAuth tab:
Please make sure you have selected Production and specify the Redirect URL. By default, the Redirect URL is:
https://shell.ringotel.co/services/SquareUp
Note:
If you are using a customer Ringotel portal, the Redirect URL should be https://[yourportaldomain]/services/SquareUp
After that please note and save Application ID and Application Secret.
This should complete the setup on the SquareUp CRM side.
Setting up the integration in Ringotel Shell Portal
Sign into your Ringotel admin portal and navigate to an organization → Integrations tab → click Enable Integration on the SquareUp card.
Specify the Application ID and Application Secret copied from the previous step and enable the user permissions as needed. Click Save & Continue.
If the credentials are correct you will be redirected to the SquareUp login page where after logging in the app will request access to your Square Account:
Please click on Allow to proceed.
If the integration settings were specified correctly, and permissions have been granted you should now be redirected back to your Ringotel admin portal to the next step where you need to link your Ringotel users with their SquareUp CRM accounts.
After linking user please click Save changes. Now the integration should be configured for the linked users.
