When to Use This Guide
A user has forgotten their password
A user's password reset link has expired or been invalidated
A user has been logged out and cannot sign back in with their existing credentials
Prerequisites
Before starting, the user needs:
Their organisation domain (the domain used when their organisation was set up in Ringotel. Provided in their welcome email.)
Their username (the extension username configured in the Ringotel admin portal. Provided in the welcome email.)
Access to the email address associated with their Ringotel account
Note:
If you’re unsure of your organisation’s domain or extension number, please contact your system administrator or the company that initially set up your Ringotel account.
Step-by-Step: Password Reset Flow
Open the Ringotel app and navigate to the login screen
Tap "Forgot password?" — located below the password field
Enter the organisation domain and tap Next
Enter the username and tap Send
Check the user's email inbox for a password reset email from Ringotel
Follow the link in the email to set a new password
Return to the app and sign in with the new password

FAQ
Q: What if the reset link has expired?
A: Simply go through the "Forgot password?" flow again. A new email with a fresh link will be sent.
Q: What information does the user need to reset their password?
A: The organisation domain, their username, and access to their registered email address.
Q: The user never received the reset email - what now?
A: Check spam/junk folders, verify the email address in the admin portal is correct, and try sending again. If emails still don't arrive, please contact your system administrator or the company that initially set up your Ringotel account.
